Thanks so much for your prayers and concerns about my mom ... I just got off the phone with her and heard about her 1st "ECT" (Electroconvulsive Therapy) treatment - It went well - No bad side effects, no bad headaches. Honestly the thought of someone running electricity through my mom's brain had me pretty worried. The only image in my head, when I first heard about this, is from the movie "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" when they do some shock treatment on Jack Nicholson's character. After more research I have a better understanding of what is going on, and thanks to encouragement from my friend (who's father in law benefited greatly from "ECT") I'm praying that this treatment will help my mom. Thank you very much for your prayers! As we say at my church - "God is good all the time AND all the time God is good!"
